Prague Airport: Terminal 1 or 2? Prepare before departure

Terminal 1 generally handles flights outside the Schengen Area; Terminal 2 handles flights within it. Always check your airline and airport information for your actual flight.

Your language or nationality does not determine the terminal

Your flight matters, not where you live or the language of your booking. When driving from Germany to Prague, your holiday flight may depart from Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 depending on its destination. Schengen is not the same as the European Union.

Check the flight number, travel date and terminal in your documents and current airport information. Check again if the flight changes. The official airport map helps you locate the building and routes; it does not replace current information about your flight.

Include check-in and security in your timing

Ask your airline when you should reach the airport, where to check bags and which documents you need. Requirements depend on the flight and trip. Booking parking confirms neither airline check-in nor carriage by the airline.

Allow for the journey from the car park before these deadlines. The shuttle usually takes about five minutes of driving, depending on traffic. Parking, boarding and walking inside the terminal take additional time. Choose your parking appointment to allow you to meet your airline’s requirements.

Car park, departure terminal and shuttle meeting point are three places

Your drive first ends at the confirmed FLY24 PRG address. After self-parking, the shuttle takes you to the agreed meeting point near Terminal 1 and 2. Your flight’s departure terminal and the meeting point agreed with the driver are not automatically the same door.

We do not promise a fixed stop or an exit that is always used. The driver coordinates the current meeting point with you. Keep your confirmation, phone number and address handy and ask directly if anything is unclear.

On returning, become ready for pickup first

Collect your checked bags after landing. Call when you can walk to the meeting point. With no checked luggage, call after leaving the aircraft when you are actually ready for pickup. Landing time alone is not a reliable collection time.

The driver confirms the current meeting point and takes you back to the car. Use your expected return to the car park as the end of parking. Let us know if your return flight or arrival time changes; a changed flight does not automatically update your parking booking.
