Bavaria to Prague Airport: plan your drive properly

Bavaria is not a single starting point. Plan around your own address, flight and passengers. A longer drive also calls for breaks and consideration of an overnight stay.

Nuremberg is not Munich: your own route matters

ADAC Maps gives A6 and D5 as a usual route between Nuremberg and Prague. This is orientation for that starting point, not a route for all Bavaria. From Munich, Regensburg or elsewhere, compare the currently suggested route from your own address.

Check the drive to the confirmed car park, not just Prague. Include fuel or charging stops and any required vignette. Use a route whose requirements you have checked in advance; general route advice does not replace current navigation.

Consider the demands of the drive before an early flight

Plan backwards from your airline’s requirements. Include driving, breaks, parking and the shuttle. If this means a very long night drive, compare arriving the previous evening with an overnight stay you arrange yourself.

A hotel booking is not automatically part of FLY24 PRG and does not change your parking appointment. Choose the date and time you will actually reach the car park. Agree any unusual arrangements directly in advance; do not arrive a day early without notice.

Drnovská is guidance, not a guaranteed location

Drnovská is often convenient when arriving from Bavaria via D5. Your reservation nevertheless confirms the actual site according to capacity and planning. Even with a Bavarian starting address, a different confirmed location may apply.

Navigate only to the address in your confirmation. At Drnovská, stop at the pergola, our office and meeting point. Park yourself, keep your keys and take the included shuttle to the airport. The approximately five minutes refer only to driving time depending on traffic.

Compare the whole trip, not just the flight ticket

Compare flights and baggage for all passengers, the drive both ways, road costs, parking and any independently booked overnight stay. Departing from Prague is not automatically cheaper than a Bavarian airport. Your actual offers and time commitment matter.

At FLY24 PRG, pay on arrival in cash EUR or CZK. The confirmed standard price includes the return shuttle. After landing, collect your bags and call the driver when you can walk to the meeting point. Include the subsequent drive home and necessary breaks in your plan too.
